Introduction<\/h2>\n\n
Configuring the energy profile in the Qilowatt app ensures that your system correctly calculates energy purchase, sales, and network costs. This allows the Optimizer to make accurate decisions based on your specific electricity contracts and tax setup. <\/div>\n\n

Prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n
\u2022 Qilowatt account created \u2192 Creating a user account<\/em><\/a>\u2022 Device connected to WiFi \u2192 Connecting a device to WiFi<\/a><\/em>\u2022 Inverter added to the Qilowatt app \u2192 Module setup<\/a><\/em>\u2022 Solar plant and battery data correctly configured \u2192 Solar inverter setup<\/a><\/em><\/div>\n\n

Step-by-step Guide<\/h2>\n\n

1. Open device information<\/h3>\n\n

\u2022 Log in to the Qilowatt app and from the left menu, under Dashboard or My Devices choose the programmable device (e.g., Qilowatt Modbus R2).<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 On the device page, locate the Device Info section and click Edit<\/div>\n\n

2. Energy profile<\/h3>\n\n
The Energy Profile displays the final import and export prices (buy and sell prices) as well as all price components separately. The price is calculated automatically based on the selected parameters. <\/div>\n\n
For example, when selecting a fixed electricity price where daytime and nighttime prices differ, the system automatically calculates the correct price, also taking into account weekends and public holidays. Public holiday dates are displayed in the network fees section. <\/div>\n\n
By clicking on the Export value, the export price components will be displayed. By clicking on the Export value, the export price components will be displayed. <\/div>\n\n

3. General settings<\/h3>\n\n
Price Unit<\/strong>Choose how energy costs and production are displayed.\u2022 \u20ac\/MWh \u2013 euros per megawatt-hour\u2022 \u20ac\/kWh \u2013 euros per kilowatt-hour\u2022 c\/kWh \u2013 cents per kilowatt-hour<\/div>\n\n
I receive renewable energy support (5.37 c\/kWh)<\/strong>Enable this option if you receive renewable energy support. In this case, the support payment is added to the export price when the spot market price is above zero. <\/div>\n\n
Include VAT (24%)<\/strong>\u2022 Enable if you are a private consumer.\u2022 Disable if you are a VAT-registered company. <\/div>\n\n

Disable if you are a VAT-registered company.<\/strong>Select the option according to the contract you have with your electricity supplier.\u2022 Spot + margin \u2013 if the contract is linked to the spot market price with an added fixed margin.<\/em>\u2022 Spot + percentage margin \u2013 if the contract is linked to the spot market price with an added percentage margin.<\/em>\u2022Fixed price package \u2013 if the contract has a fixed price. Select the tariff type depending on whether the contract has the same price for the entire day or different prices for daytime and nighttime. <\/em> <\/div>\n\n

Enter this value as positive. <\/em> \u2022 Fixed price package \u2013 if the contract has a fixed price. Select the tariff type depending on whether the price is the same throughout the day or differs between day and night. Enter this value as positive. <\/em> <\/div>\n\n

Your energy profile is now configured. Qilowatt uses these parameters to calculate energy costs, revenues, and optimize energy flows in real time. <\/div>\n\n
