3. Inverter settings<\/h3>\n\n
\u2022 Unlock password:<\/strong> 2014Solax is the only manufacturer that requires an Unlock Password for Modbus control. If the password is changed, Qilowatt will no longer be able to control the inverter.\u2022 Modbus address:<\/strong> 1 (default)\u2022 Baud rate:<\/strong> 9600The inverter default Baud rate is 19200. For communication with Qilowatt, this must be changed to 9600<\/strong>. If needed, the Qilowatt support team can adjust this in the Qilowatt device as well. Modbus address and Baud rate settings can also be modified via the Solax SolarCloud app.<\/strong><\/div>\n\n

4. Operating modes<\/h3>\n\n
\u2022 Mandatory step<\/strong>: enable battery usageDischarge period: 00:00\u201323:59Charge period: 00:00\u201300:00\u2022 Installer password:<\/strong> 2014Test whether you can access Remote control in Solax Cloud with this password.\u2022 Disable all remote controls, AI features, and time-of-use schedules to avoid conflicts.\u2022 Operation takes place in Back-Up mode<\/strong>.! In Self-use mode, the inverter will not accept commands if the battery is empty.\u2022 The Solax Datahub<\/strong> must be removed \u2013 even if not actively controlling, it interferes with communication. <\/div>\n\n

5. Why is a firmware update necessary?<\/h3>\n\n
Qilowatt always uses the manufacturer\u2019s latest Modbus protocol. If the inverter or battery firmware is not updated, control may not work correctly. <\/div>\n\n
