Qilowatt supports smart thermostats that help automate heating control. To install a thermostat, it must be connected to the power supply, configured on its display, and linked with the Qilowatt app. <\/div>\n\n

Prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n
\u2022 Power supply must be turned off during installation\u2022 Old thermostat is ready for removal \u2022 New Qilowatt-compatible thermostat and temperature sensor are available\u2022 Required tools (screwdriver, etc.)\u2022 Optional: a Qilowatt account is created and the app is ready for linking \u2192 Creating a user account<\/a><\/div>\n\n

Step-by-step Guide<\/h2>\n\n

Installation<\/h3>\n\n
1.<\/strong> The package includes the control unit<\/strong> and a waterproof temperature sensor.<\/strong> Suitable for a standard junction box with at least 25 mm depth (see dimension diagram). 2.<\/strong> Remove the thermostat screen from the frame: hold the screen and push the frame part about 5 mm downwards. Disconnect the cable connecting the two parts. 3. <\/strong>Connect the wires according to the scheme:\u2022 1 \u2013 heating element phase*\u2022 2 \u2013 heating element neutral*\u2022 3 \u2013 mains neutral\u2022 4 \u2013 mains phase(* polarity is usually not important)4. <\/strong>Pay attention to:\u2022 Stranded wire ends must be crimped or soldered.\u2022 For loads over 2000 W, the wire cross-section must be at least 2.5 mm\u00b2.\u2022 The heating device must be grounded.5.<\/strong> Maximum allowed load: 16 A (approx. 3500 W at 230 V).6. <\/strong>Install the thermostat into the junction box, connect the screen cable, and press the screen back into place.<\/div>\n\n
